These are rather sweet (I cut down sugar from the original recipe as much as I could!) but I think the sugar is what's holding them together So I made these today after seeing this on the front page.   1. put all of these in a pan and bring to a rolling constant boil for 2 to 3 minutes. then take off the heat. you have to add the next ingredients rather quickly so the butter,milk and sugar do not harden!
  2. You MUST use the following or these cookies will not come out right! -Peter Pan or Jiff peanut butter, Hershey's Cocoa and Quaker Cooking Oats.:)
  3. After taking the pan off the stove add in all the mixture ingrediants! PUT THE PEANUT BUTTER IN BEFORE THE OATS! promise me it makes a big difference! :) mix everything together and then your ready for the wax paper set up :)
  4. You can now proceed to drop teaspoon amount size( bigger cookies can be made if you wish) on the wax paper and let sit for 30 minutes or so! and than you can Enjoy! :)
